Our journey commenced with an insightful overview of Brazil, the largest country in South America, known for its vast land and diverse culture. Despite the noted security concerns, particularly in Rio and Sao Paulo, our team navigated the bustling cities with the guidance of local translators, experiencing the local commute and gaining a deeper understanding of the market dynamics.
At the heart of our trip was the LATIN AMERICAN HOUSEHOWARES SHOW, where we exhibited an array of products, including air fryers, kettles, water dispensers, and ice makers. Despite facing challenges such as high perceived pricing and competition from local brands like Britina/Phico, Mondial, and Cadence, our team collected over 40 leads and engaged in more than 10 client meetings, laying the groundwork for future collaborations.
Beyond business, the trip fostered networking opportunities and cultural exchange. We were honored to visit the China Pavilion at the show, where trading companies and brands from our homeland displayed their wares, further solidifying our commitment to international trade.
